Exchange and Repatriation of Funds Risks
The exchange rate and repatriation of funds has risk when there are adverse changes in the exchange rate between two countries. Some business take out loans in other countries due to the lower interest rate. The company then converts the money to their country's currency and use it to pay off their loan. This allows a company to earn interest while it sits in their bank and helps them take advantage of investments that will be good for them.
