Freedom Means

Freedom is something we now all have. Many have fought for it in the past. Many have lost their lives for it. Freedom is the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint. For more on freedom, visit www.pbs.org/wnet/historyofus .

Freedom also has another meaning, perhaps a less desirable one: openness; inventiveness; nonconformity; frankness; abandon; candor; free expression; rough are listed under looseness (n) conformity is an antonym. We enjoy all of these freedoms here in the United States.
