How Long Should I Pump Breast Milk

Doctors say that giving you baby breast milk for the first year is long enough. I know some who have gone the extra mile and breast fed until their child was older. It is really up to you. If you are making the choise to keep your child on breast milk for longer than 1 year you should consider pumping so that your baby can drink it from a cup instead of the breast. Don't forget that you can freeze extra milk and use it to prepare foods for your child like cereal and oatmeal.
