How Many Ounces Should a Newborn Eat

Most newborns will drink about 2 to 3 ounces of milk every 2 to 4 hours. Every baby is different and some may even drink more at a time or eat every 1 to 2 hours. They usually break out this phase by 6 weeks and move up to 4 to 6 ounces at a time which allows them to stay full a little bit longer.
