Juvenile Runaway Laws

Juvenile runaway laws all depend on the state the runaway is from. Some states require the juvenile to have received several strikes before disciplinary actions are taking, meaning they require the child to run away multiple times. For most states the law is if the juvenile is a constant runaway, getting in trouble in school, abusing there sibling or parent, etc they will automatically place them in a juvenile detention facility. There are actions a parent or legal guardian can take if they feel there child is getting out of hand, they can go to court to have the child mandated to a detention facility, boot camp or even a group home. A parent knows best so if you feel your child needs help it is smart to get the help now before it is to late.
