When researching genealogy in either the latter day saints field or any other religious or cultural group, there are many useful website and venues to go to. Your first stop should be the website actually sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Family Search website. Ancestor Hunt is another popular place to search for Mormon or LDS records to aid you in your genealogy quest. When it comes to researching anything genealogy related however, the biggest and most comprehensive list of genealogy sites is to be found at Cyndi's List. Cyndi's List has a treasure trove of valuable insight into how to research and find the missing link. She also can lead you to where you want to go to find anything whether it be Census information, vital records, Immigration papers or long lost relatives you may not have known you even had.
