List of Holidays
There are ten federal holidays. When a holiday is considered federal most places are closed. Federal holidays always mean the banks, post offices and any federal buildings are closed. However, other places of business may close. The following is a list of holidays: New Years Day, Birthday of Martin Luther King Jr., Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
