Mythical Names

Mythical names are a part of everyday life, and we don't even realize it. For example, Thursday is derived from "Thor's" day, and Friday is named after the goddess Freya. Alexander, which is a common name, means "defender of men." The name Helen has been around since there was a beautiful woman in Troy, and it means "torch." Connor means "dog" or "wolf lover."
