Omens of Bad Luck
Omens of bad luck come in a few different shapes and forms. The most commonly known is the black cat. The black cat is seen as a bad luck omen because of its ties with witches and witch hunts in the middle ages. Thus when a black cat crosses your path, watch out for the bad luck! (Only if you believe in it, of course.) Also, breaking a mirror is said to get you seven years worth of bad luck! Other bad luck omens are walking under ladders, anything associating with the number 13 and owls looking directly at you or into your bedroom.
