What Is the Punishment for Burglary

Burglary is a felony. The punishment for a burglary can be 1-5 years for reoccuring individual. If the burglary is for the first time it can be 6 months to a year. First time occuree can serve alot of probation time. Each state is different. It also depends on the judge.

Burglary is usually classified as a felony and can have a sentence of usually a year or more. But usually if it is a first time offense you end up with with less jail and more probation, depending on the judge.
