Convicted Felons Travel Abroad
Can convicted felons travel abroad? I believe so. There is nothing in U.S. law that prevents most felons from receiving a passport. Unless of course, the terms of parole, probation or sentencing deny a person the right to a passport or international travel. The following site might be of assistance: http://www.findlaw.com/. There might be an exception if your charges are in relation to drug trafficking.
