14. You don't need much spelunking equipment to go spelunking. All you need is a light source. Get either a headlamp or a flashlight. Carry a fanny pack with water, a snack and maybe some first aid supplies. That way it will be easier to get through tight squeezes. Extra batteries for you flashlight is always a plus.
