Removing Exhaust Baffles
for removing exhaust baffles you will have to run the engine for a while to get the pipe hot enough and when it gets to that point you can get some niddle nose pliers and just grab them and they should come out by moving them.

running a d&d ( came with the bike) , thinking of drilling out the rivets on the can,and just removing the exhaust baffle material, fiberglass i guess ? Anyone do this , and how did it sound ... Re: removing exhaust baffle for better sound ?

RE: Removing baffles from exhaust ... Removing the baffles may reduce your Hp & Tq with no backpressure. There may also be a chnace you will need to rejet. Can you buy/replcae the baffles with new ones? ... You need backpressure in the exhaust so the motor runs right. If you remove the baffles, it will make more noise,

You can make a bike louder by drilling holes in the exhaust pipe baffles or removing the baffles altogether. Careful though, it can affect the correct operation of the carburetor, which may need to be re-jetted.
