Combobulated
Combobulated is a slang term. It can be used as a verb - "Yo dogg, Mr. Dan really combobulates calculus! Fo shizzle D!" - this is meant as an ajective meaning removed from a state of confusion. It can be an adjective - "Ginger felt completely combobulated as she mounted Mike in the red Pontiac." - this means the feeling of complete control over a situation. The word is the root word for discombobulated which is a feeling of disconnection or being unblanced. Example usage: "I keep forgetting things this week; I'm discombobulated." Well the alteration discompose…… the opposite is compose. So why not combobulated? It does sound a little strange but is that just because I’m used to “dis” or because it is positive. Not sure.
