Dual 2 ohm voice coil in series = 4 ohms . Dual 2 ohm voice coil in parallel = 1 ohm . Dual 4 ohm voice coil in series = 8 ohms . Dual 4 ohm voice coil in parallel = 2 ohms . Since they make two difference versions of the subwoofer, that gives you four options for hooking it up (with one speaker) .

I have the choice between the apline type R with 2 ohms or 4 ohms 4 is better i'm sure but what makes the differenence?? Sound quality??? Less resistence?? ... dual 4 ohm voice coils with 200-500 RMS peak...

A normal amp will work from 4 and above. The lower the impedance the more the amp has to deliver. Usually you can hook up one 4 ohm speaker on a amp that rates 8 ohm. A descent hi-fi / caramp can take a 2 ohm load.
