Recently an Experienced Riders Course, through Team Oregon was arranged for our members to sharpen our riding skills. Also, our members participate in the Seminar to Train, Educate and Motivate (STEAM) held once a year for all ABATE members.

Russ approached ABATE of Oregon, Inc. to start the chapter and find out what was needed to get an Oregon ABATE Chapter Charter. They pulled a bunch of us together to create a new Springfield / Eugene Area ABATE, to refill a vacancy from the earlier Eugene/ Lane County ABATE Chapter.
