My brother who bought it new doesn't know what BIOS is so he wasn't in there. I tried restore discs and reloading Win. password still there. Anyone know a back way in? ... >> Re: Accessing BIOS ... Just switch the jumper to the other pins. This will disable password protection. Then you can get into the BIOS without any problem.

It freezes at the hp logo screen, can't access bios, can't boot to safe mode, can't do any of the supposed diagnostics built in to this laptop. I wanted to remove the harddrive and they assured me the manual for the ze5200 was the correct one, but the harddrive will not come out the way it describes.
