This work did not match the progress made by the Greeks but in addition to the Islamic progress, it did preserve Greek mathematics. Now there is one predominant international mathematics, and this mathematics has quite a history. It has roots in ancient Egypt and Babylonia, then grew rapidly in ancient Greece. Mathematics written in ancient Greek was translated into Arabic.

I have found a lot of history and it is very interesting. Her grandmother was Sarah Rapalie bapt 6/9/1625 her father Joris Jansen [George] Rapalie was amoung the first settlers arriving in 1624 he married Catallynte Trico and 1st settled in what is now Manhattan then moved to what is now Brooklyn.
