No, this is not the "aggressive" house spider (a.k.a - Hobo spider). This is the Giant House Spider a.k.a Greater European House Spider (Tegenaria duellica). Little known fact: It is a misnomer to call the hobo spider the "aggressive house spider", because it is not aggressive.
