The Annals of Pharmacotherapy was founded in 1967 as Drug Intelligence. In 1969 the title was changed to Drug Intelligence & Clinical Pharmacy, and in 1989 to DICP, The Annals of Pharmacotherapy. These name changes reflected the journal´s goal of reporting rational drug therapy in the context of clinical pharmacy.
