If you're playing the OCG, you may know this better as a Chess deck. Virtually all of the archfiend monsters are chess-themed (King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook, Pawn) so many people simply choose to call this a Chess deck.

This is the second strongest card in the Archfiend deck and is a “must-have” card if you use these theme decks. The reason why this card is so strong is this. During each standby phase (including your opponents!), you can increase one Archfiends attack power by 1000 points.

Archfiend Soldier is Level 4, and you guessed it, a Fiend with 1900 attack, 1500 defense, both of which are excellent, and we won't say much more here...he would be essentially the only cost-free and genuine beatstick in an Archfiend Deck.

The goal of the Archfiend deck is to quickly beat your opponent with beefy Fiends like Terrorking Archfiend, Archfiend Soldier, and Shadowknight Archfiend. Personally, as a former Archfiend player, I would always concentrate on getting Terrorking on the field to negate any nasty monster effects that would be in my way.

Le Deck Archfiend ... Petite mise au point concernant le deck Archfiend. Mon deck Archfiend n' est pas un deck particulièrement puissant, mais se range dans les decks purs. Un deck est dit pur par rapport à une classe lorsque la presque totalité des cartes qui y sont rentrent dans le cadre d' une famille de cartes données.
