How do we know exit polls are accurate? Let's do simple math. It's simple algebra- actually arithmetic; Let's just assume the loss of democratic votes was due to natural spoilage. This is DOCUMETED fact in EVERY election - millions of votes are lost due to punch card machine anomalies.

Despite what you may have heard, the exit polls were right ... Exit polls are highly accurate. They remove most of the sources of potential polling error by identifying actual voters and asking them immediately afterward who they had voted for.

Exit polls are accurate (none / 0) ... isn't enough to prove that exit polls are always accurate when held to a certain standard, just that they CAN be. ... My point, however, is that citing UK and German exit poll accuracy as evidence that exit polls are accurate is certainly flawed.

Ironically encouraging people to be more accurate than they might otherwise be will actually cover up fraud. If it works it increases the margin within which voter fraud can go undetected because normal people ... Exit polls are often used to check vote accuracy, as they are consistently within .3% of the actual result.
