The orbits of a large number of Kuiper Belt objects are harmonious with Neptune's orbit. The strongest resonance that appears is the 3:2 resonance; a Kuiper Belt object in this orbit completes two revolutions of the Sun in the time it takes Neptune to complete three.

Many orbit in 3:2 resonance with Neptune (as does Pluto). Color measurements of some of the brightest have shown that they are unusually red. Unusual high-e objects are shown as cyan triangles, Centaur objects as orange triangles, Plutoids (or Plutinos, objects in 2:3 resonance with Neptune) as white circles (Pluto itself is the large white symbol), scattered-disk objects as magenta circles and "classical" or "main-belt" objects as red circles.

The apparent magnitude is V = 24.2. For more information see David Jewitt's Kuiper Belt Home Page. Since then nearly 100 objects like QB1 have been found. They are thought to be similar to Pluto in composition and, like Pluto, many orbit the sun in a 3:2 resonance with Neptune.
