I have one of the highest maternal instincts I’ve known (this is not a contest, I’m just stating my observation – I’ve got a wicked drive to be a mom). I’m sure it has to do with my perspective as a woman born without ovaries and a uterus;

I would bet pretty strongly that maternal instincts are biological. The question is not whether they are biological, but how they are turned on.They may not be turned on in all biologically female people, or turned on ... I think it is hormonally induced and biological. The minute the baby is born they usually kick in.
