I have several strange bumps on my areola of both breasts, and am quite concerned. They look somewhat like pimples, but are not going away like pimples do. They do not hurt. A: You can get warts on any part of the skin, but what you're describing sounds like the normal array of Montgomery glands.

I also have those pimple like bumps on both my areola. i was wondering if those can be cancerous. You said it can be ignored, i was just wondering if it were nothing 100%? I heard that those could be little things that keep your ... Is there any way to get rid of the bumps on areola other than light electrocautery?

These glands may appear as tiny, raised bumps on the surface of the areola. These bumps are normal. The Montgomery’s gland helps lubricate the areola. When the nipple is stimulated, the muscle fibers will contract, the areola will pucker, and the nipples become hard.

Bumps on the areola/nipple nouns - are usually nothing more than milk ducts (where milk drains out), a bit misplaced from the nipple. Why were you not qualified this in arts school? It is insignificant to the body until/unless you are actually lactating/nursing a kid.

Its not in the illustration but there are also little bumps that you may notice on your areola are sweat glands. After birth they shrink but don't go away. You may also notice blue veins on the breast too. Those also show when you are pregnant especially when you are fair skinned.
