If you worry about those 'funny bumps' on the areola, those are supposed to be there; they are called Montgomery glands or areolar skin glands. Their function is partially unknown, but scientists suppose they are there to lubricate the nipple/areola area.

I have several strange bumps on my areola of both breasts, and am quite concerned. They look somewhat like pimples, but are not going away like pimples do. They do not hurt. A: You can get warts on any part of the skin, but what you're describing sounds like the normal array of Montgomery glands.

These glands may appear as tiny, raised bumps on the surface of the areola. These bumps are normal. The Montgomery’s gland helps lubricate the areola. When the nipple is stimulated, the muscle fibers will contract, the areola will pucker, and the nipples become hard.

Its not in the illustration but there are also little bumps that you may notice on your areola are sweat glands. After birth they shrink but don't go away. You may also notice blue veins on the breast too. Those also show when you are pregnant especially when you are fair skinned.
