Ashbourne Shrovetide Football 2006 took place on Tuesday 28th February and Wednesday 1st March with tuesday's ball being turned up by Mr Lewis Rose, a councillor on Derbyshire Dales District Council and wednesday's ball by Mr George Handley, a member of the Shrovetide Committee.
