Authoritarian or autocratic Although good leaders use all three styles, with one of them normally dominant, bad leaders tend to stick with one style. When the men acted as autocratic leaders, they were to make all the decisions for the group. When they acted as laissez faire leaders, their job was to allow complete freedom with almost no guidance.
