A. Baby robins are colorful. Their skin in bright light may appear yellowish, and is transparent enough that it's possible to see a baby robin's green gall bladder, purplish-red liver, and orange yolk sac right through the skin!

I think he was the father, since he seemed a little "oranger" than the other robin. ... His mate came home then and kept flapping noisily as she flew low right over my head.

Four days later they hatched. Here are the new Baby Robins in the nest. The bird Maddie chased I think is the Mother Robin. ... May 19, 1997; If you look closely you can see the Baby Robins with their little yellow mouths open waiting for food. Their eyes are not open yet.
