IMO, any church with roots in the Catholic Church's beliefs is corrupt.....for a number of reasons. This is why it's sad that SO MANY are based on those ... Protestantism covers such a broad range of beliefs the best you can say is: "We are Western Christians (as opposed to Orthodox) but we are not Roman Catholic."
