To relax a too curly perm,I have been told to comb a perm through my hair. ... I do not know what line or what type of color (permanent, or demi permanent) "coffee bean" is but either way the following technique is probably the best way to go for now until you can have your regular stylist spend the time to really fix it.

Best of Hair Talk ... P.S. I already phoned them, and the receptionist told me 'well, we use very weak lotions you know, and perms always relax a fair bit within the first 3 weeks' !!!!!. ... She agrees that the perm I've had in no way constitutes a spiral perm, so at least I have an independent professional view on it.

Thanks for the insights, Mary - you've made me feel better, so my entire weekend isn't shot! What is it about Pantene that will relax a perm? ... In school a body perm was gray rods by the way. I had a client who came in about 7 years ago who had hair about 6 inches below her shoulder's. Heavy,one length virgin hair.

I personally use Logics Coloreserve Perm, (no ammonia), which works on hair up to 50% highlighted. My experience with this perm is that it's one of the best! Needless to say, I searched high and low for a good way to remedy this problem, ... The cloth has just the right texture to work without damaging precious screens or blackbooks. And, to get back to the point…the fingerprints and other stuff comes right off!! So get some and relax. This is a non-issue with this stuff.
