I think the Flatheaders web site could use some input on radial vs bias ply tires and their effect on handling of your ride. Please reply, as you all know, the more opinions-the better. BillB...

I am driving on Firestone 6.00X16's (bias ply) . I got them from Coker Tire and they have a nice period look, but they, of course, aren't original in any sense. They seem to drive nicely but i have rarely tested the limits of adhesion.

SUBJECT: # 4182: trailer tires - bias ply vs. radial ... - in looking at alot of sites, I saw both bias ply and radial tires listed for boat trailers. What is the difference as far as a boat trailer is concerned. Why would you put a radial tire on a boat trailer? Any information would be appreciated.
