On the sea floor of the deep sea (Gorda Escarpment off Northern California) gather creatures called Blob Sculpin. Scientists at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute found an undersea nursery of the guys that rest on their eggs till they hatch.

With a face only another blob sculpin could love, this Psychrolutes phrictus swam up to take a look at the camera on MBARI's remotely operated vehicle Tiburon.
