Well the book you probably want is William Zeckendorf's autobiography Zechendorf out of print these days, of course, and long on puffery and short on details but the key ideas are in there. 1) A building's ... There's also a really good bio of Trammel Crow, which, even though he didn't do tall buildings is very helpful.
