1. Turn the baby to head down/vertex and proceed with a vaginal birth. (see below) ... I am 32 weeks pregnant with twins that are both in breach position. I desperately do not want to have a c-section and am wondering if this techniques will be safe with twin pregnancies. Thank you, Lisa Futcher.

My wife had 2 C-sections both because the babies were breach. The first one she tried to turn the baby it is very painful and risky. As with any surgery there are complications that need to be considered but at this point I would just go ahead and schedule the C-Section save yourself and the baby the danger and the pain.

the baby is currently breached, but I know a lot of flipping and flopping can happen between now and then. Has she tried all the ways to try to turn a breech baby? Here's a list: ... Have someone (preferably the father) talk loudly but soothingly to the baby, low on the belly, close to the skin, telling the baby to turn around, to come towards the voice (have also heard that commanding works).

There are a variety of techniques that can be used to encourage the baby to turn, although this early in the pregnancy I wouldn't do much beyond thinking about the baby's turning and talking to the baby, suggesting that it might want to turn.

External cephalic version is a way to try to turn a baby from breech position to vertex (head-down) position while it's still in the mother's uterus. In other words, external cephalic version means turning the baby from outside of the abdomen so that it's in the head-down position.

I just found out at 36 weeks that my baby has turned to a breach position. My doctor suggested an external version to try to turn the baby but I am wondering if there are other methods to try to get the baby to turn back around...

At 39 weeks my baby was still breech. I was beginning to panic, as my midwife was talking c-section and that really was NOT the plan. I used a number of these ... Swimming ~ Swimming is awesome, it not only helps keep your hips and pelvis loose, but it is like a gravity free zone which helps the baby turn.
