I also was having my browser hijacked any time I rebooted and any spyware program I used did not work. I downloaded the "Hijack This" program mentioned earlier and it helped with the cleanup process...finally I can work without the computer lagging any time I type;

This guy had his browser hijacked. He uses Win98 SE and everytime he opens a browser his home page will not come up. He went into Tools>Internet Options>General to try and put the settings back to his home page but it is all now blanked out.
