My favorite duck is the Bufflehead. They look too d*mned cute for their own good. When they take to flight, their wings do no touch the water.

Unlike other diving cousins, the bufflehead can take flight from water without having to run along the surface. This duck's diet consists primarily of snails, aquatic insects, crustaceans and aquatic plants.
