I have a floating dock I built 6 years ago and it is still floating in the Frozen Lake. I just made a 2x6 box, 12' x 12' x 6" deep. I took 2in foam boards 3 thick and built it around it. Worked greatT Section off the bottom into 3 spaces and screwed it together with 3 ... Pretty easy but build it close to the water its heavy.
