As you might guess, a harp will play a major role in the story. And what better way to learn a bit about the building of a harp than to make one? Now, I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid. There's no way I have the woodworking skills, tools, time, or know-how to build a harp from scratch.

After you build the frame, coils and amplifier, its time to test your wind harp. If everything is working, you should hear a loud "twang" when you pluck the steel ... Thank you for this instructable. I've always wanted to build an electronic aeolian harp, but have never gotten around to it. Now I think I finally will.

A wind harp is just what the name says, a harp played by the wind. You don't need lessons with this instrument, just a light wind will do.
