Over the past three months I've experience a burning sensation around my rectum/anal area. I went to a doctor and was initially diagnosed with hemmorroids, but after treatment for hemmorroids failed (hydro-cort. supp) I was refered to a surgeon who specialized in hemmorroids.

However, the doctors say that the feeling could be coming from the inflamation (inflammation) on the outside of my rectum. My last gastroenterologist said that the only thing that he has found that causes this sensation is inflamation (inflammation) inside or outside the rectum.
