Bypassing web filters:; Think of the internet as numbers 1 through 10. A filter will block certain websites, 5-10 for example. Simply put, there are ways to trick the browser into thinking you are accessing websites 1-5, whilst really gaining access to the blocked websites.

Another service that helps to bypass proxy filtering, is the web-page-by-mail service. Sending mail to: web@glr.com with the first line of the message being the requested URL, results in a reply containing the wanted web page.

We have found a situation with our combination of web filter and squid that allows users to bypass the web filter by specifying a url such as ; http://www.sex..com. This was tested with squid 2.5-stable1-20021115.

My school use FortiGuard web filter and it sucks ... for teachers____________- it just to let you know it dosent works it let pron show up on search web sites like google and live search ... Hey Bill. My teacher said if you can find out how to do it correctly, you'll be allowed to bypass it. So blow me.
