In the graduation ceremony of the University of Cyprus, Byzantine clothing experts were called in to design a tunic based on Byzantine clothing and they came up with a magnificent design, with a "ploumi" of something like meanders on the inner edge, and a head covering that looked like a square pillow (all in black).

My question would be if any one would know about the outlook (ornamentation etc) of this paragaudion or indeed any tunica from the early Byzantine period. If I can visiualise how these tunica might look, it might help me translate this passage.
