Problem for Car CD Changers ... - I tried it this morning, careful to have the key in the ACC position and pressed eject and there was no sound of "whir" --- there was only silence. Tried with the radio button pushed in for "on" and "CD" pressed and also with radio button pressed to "off" position.

will it be possible to get the cd out, or is the head unit just broken? it's 10 years old, so it wouldn't surprise me if it's just broken, but at the same time, she would like to change out cds and not have to put a new stereo into a car that she most likely won't keep too much longer..
