Croup is clasified as a breathing problem and also associated with a loud "barking" cough. Adults generally do not get croup as this is an infant disease. Adults that are expose to croup will generally get a cold.

I imagine an adult could get croup... but as we are old enough to treat ourselves I don't think we would let it go this far... children can't treat themselves... adults do it for them... so the chance that an adult get the "croup"...
