In two instances, the owner of the property had judgements recorded against them. One for a business matter. The other for some form of fraud they committed. While it was very clear that the judgement was filed against the individual, it was not clear (to me) if it was attached to the property.

I filed the original credit card company and New Century when I filed bankruptcy . New Century proceeded to file a civil claim judgement against me for the amount of the debt and several thousand of dollars more. The judgement has been on my credit report for years.
