Maybe this sounds too competitive, but most people are petrified of discussing things like this. ... Nathan, you have addressed a problem which is no where near as simple as you portray it. Society needs competitive entrepreneurial drive and skill. There is no question about that need in a capitalist society. It is a good thing.
