An adult beaver's body can grow to 22 to 27 inches (0.55 to 0.70 meters), it's tail can be 12 to 16 inches long (0.3 to 0.4 meters), and its weight can be 30 to 68 lbs (13.5 to 31 kg). The Canadian beaver is the largest rodent in North America.
