well im going out on a limb here but if spiderman can beat carnage without the symbiote, then i am going to risk it and say that the symbiote spiderman wins ... what symbiote spiddy venom or carnage? if the venom symbiote then carnage if carnage then spiddy. so it depends and if you dont think there was a spidercarnage then...

Recently, Carnage lost his symbiote when Venom re-absorbed it. But Mackie couldn't let a character actually change, that would be too much like long-term plot development, so he had him discover another one just the same, in the Negative Zone.
