I thought that the answer was wind but my teacher said it wasn't because I asked her the same question. Maybe the question means the energy that can cause ocean currents and deep currents. I am not sure where the energy comes from to cause currents but maybe its from the corolis effect or the sun. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
