I dont know if this is a good example but one of my work mates used to use it as a spoonerism. "What happened to the Reverend Smith?"; "Oh he went to Africa and was eaten by missionaries"; ... Hello there; Im wondering if anyone out there can tell me what causes a spoonerism to occur?
