I personally have excessive eye blinking and its now got to the stage where i am considering seeing a psychologist. Apparently it can be a symptom of anxiety. It is NOT just a nervous habit and not drawing attention to the problem will not ... Do somthing about it, dont talk about it or your child will just blink more...

mine are low-level ticks (non-complex)some basic motor fuctions (mosty automatic ones such as blinking and breathing)... I've found that Tourettes and obssesive compulsive disorder are quite closely related (almost the same thing).
